Takes forever to dry

I have had this dryer for almost 6 years. I clean out the lint trap and the exhaust hose. It heats up but takes forever to dry. It can sometimes take almost 2 hours for the clothes to dry. When I first got it dried but you had to limit how much clothes you put in it to a half a load. I have an lg tv and could not be happier with it but the dryer has tons of issues

Poor Sensor Dry Reliability

Bought this dryer about 4.5 yrs ago with a 5-yr extended warranty. Good thing The Sensor Dry function has broken twice - Oct-2022 and Apr-2023. Regardless of Sensor Dry setting the timer counts all the way down to approx. 6 min. remaining then resets to 16 min. then counts down to 6 min. remaining then resets....It never shuts off automatically. This is an otherwise good dryer. Per my Best Buy extended warranty one more issue with the same problem will label this a lemon

Very disappointed. Dryer less than 3 years old and had to spend $425 to replace the thermistor and the control panel. Cant say I would recommend or purchase another LG appliance.

We had the dryer short of two years and it is bound for the junk yard. The first service call occurred with in the first month of purchase. The second service call came in under two years. LG support informed me that the warranty one year had expired.The salesman misrepresented the 10 year warranty. While this isnt LGs fault the whole experience turned me off LG for life.

I bought this 1 year ago and regret it every load. Who does not put a light in a dryer. Never had one that didnt and the dryers arent plugged in in the stores so its something your not looking for. Id much rather have a light than the annoying little tune that plays signaling cycle is done Plus clothes come out wrinkled most of the time.

Machine Has Been An Issue

Unfortunately we have had 2 major heating errors E1 E2 that basically left the machine inoperable for a period of time until the technician was able to answer the service call. Both error code issues were rectified by replacing the main board twice which seems extremely uncommon. The service technician was very professional and understanding to the inconveniences caused by these issues and went above and beyond each service call to rectify the situation. As of now our dryer is operating properly but we do not have that much faith it will last. Considering the newness of the machine it is leaving a bad taste in our mouths and future purchases of any LG products is unlikely.

Had to replace in less than 2 years

I initially loved the dryer but it stopped working after having it less than two years. A repairman came out and it worked for about 15 minutes before shutting off mid cycle with a clicking noise. He replaced the thermal fuse twice and then was going to have to replace that again along with the element thermostat. We ended up having to replace the dryer completely. We shouldnt not have had to repair or replace in less than two years. I contacted Customer Service and am only receiving a partial refund that does not even cover the repair much less the new dryer. I would not recommend dryer.

I love the little tune and it is quiet. The problem is that every load it says the clothes are done but they are not fully dry. Its so frustrating. I have to then add a manual 25 minute extension which is not ok and defeats the energy efficiency. All online help suggests to check my lint buildup which is not the problem.

This dryer has never worked well from the beginning. Apparently it has a dryer sensor that decides when the clothes are dry and when the really arent dry it doesnt turn back on to dry them. After calling LG and having 3 different service people out they are going to replace some parts and try to get it to work better. I would NEVER buy this dryer again.

I bought this dryer twice now. The first one was the previous model and it was awesome and I loved it but unfortunately burned up in a house fire. I bought this model and loved it and still do up until 2 weeks ago it started having issues. I believe its only specific to the one I have not the whole lot of the dyers. I believe the heating element went out and thats a little soon for something I only bought two years ago. Luckily I have a warranty on it. I will be purchasing the newest model of the LG one because I just love their products even after this little hiccup. Great product overall just possibly a defect in mine.

Noisy and now more noise

Ive had this 6 moths and its been a rattle trap since the first month. Countles times at leveling and positioning have failed at stopping the rattle coming from the outer housing.Now the drum is making noise as it spins.

great features get the extended warranty

We bought this with a washer to replace a 20 yr old set. The dryer is great except we had a lot of vibrating noise. Cust service came and replaced the bad drum motor right away. But we still have a little of the noise. We will likely have to have it replaced again once it gets bad enough that we cant stand it. We did get the extended warranty and are glad we did as we will likely need to use it.

I bought this dryer after my previous dryers heating element went out. It is amazing how much time it saves me. With my previous dryer it would take hours to dry one load now 30 to 45 minutes depending on what type of load I have.

It took a month to get it but its fantastic. Best dryer ever So quiet we scarcely know its running. Drys the clothes faster than ever. Great options refresh wrinkle release. Large capacity easy to access. I would highly recommend this dryer to anyone in the market.
